Head of School Application Process

Stage 1: Submit a completed application and email your resume to [email protected].

There are 2 parts to this application. Application will only be considered as fully submitted if both parts and all references are completed. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

1. 1. Complete the online application form on the next page. This needs to be completed in one sitting and will take approximately 1.5 hours to complete.
   2. After submitting the online application you will receive an email with instructions for part two of the application which includes short answer questions, video submissions and essay questions.

Stage 2: Successful candidates will be contacted for a video call interview with
members of the search committee within 4 weeks.

Stage 3: Successful candidates will be invited to an online interview with CRICS
Governing Board.

Stage 4: Successful candidates will be invited to an in-person interview series at
CRICS in Chiang Rai, Thailand.

Once a candidate has been offered an invitation to serve at CRICS as Head of School:

Stage 5: Onboarding process for the successful candidate.
An invitation to serve at CRICS will be contingent on Board approval and the following:

• Criminal background clearance
• Approved health history form and doctor’s approval following a physical exam
• Approved sending organization
• Sufficient financial support raised (Click here for fundraising tips for potential teachers)
• If applicant has children who will be enrolling in CRICS, submission of CRICS student application form(s)

Stage 6: Gather documents for work permit and visa (you will need a Non-Imm Type B teacher visa so it is required by Thai law that you also teach while on this visa. Click here for all visa requirements.)
